LOW INCOME TAXPAYER CLINIC
Do you need help with a federal tax issue?
Legal Aid’s Low Income Taxpayer Clinic (LITC) provides free legal assistance on a variety of federal income tax issues.
We help low-to-moderate income taxpayers in seven Southwest Ohio counties: Brown, Butler, Clermont, Clinton, Hamilton, Highland, and Warren.
The LITC team assists individuals whose income is less than 250% of the federal poverty limit.* Click here to see the 2026 Federal Poverty Limit Chart to find out if you are income-eligible.
* In certain circumstances, we can assist individuals whose annual incomes are over 250% of the Federal Poverty Level. If you’re unsure, submit a request for assistance and we’ll review it.
