Rural Justice Project Referral

Welcome to Legal Aid Society’s Rural Justice Project’s online intake form. Our goal is to make this a quick and easy process for you.

Authorized Use Only

This referral form is for use only by organizational partners pre-approved by Legal Aid. This form is not for use by the general public.  Submissions from unauthorized individuals or the general public will not be reviewed, monitored, or responded to by Legal Aid.  General intake requests for assistance can call Legal Aid’s main intake line at (513) 241-9400 or 1-800-582-2682 (toll free).

Geographic Eligibility

Further, referred community members must be residents of Brown, Clermont, Clinton or Highland Counties.  If the referred person is a resident of Butler, Warren, or Hamilton counties, that referral cannot be served through the Rural Justice Project. The referred person must call the main intake line at (513) 241-9400 or 1-800-582-2682 (toll free) to submit their request for assistance.

No Attorney-Client Relationship

The submission of this referral form, including any accompanying documents or information, does not create an attorney-client relationship between Legal Aid and the referring organization, its employees, or the individual being referred. An attorney-client relationship is only formed after a full conflict check, an intake interview, an eligibility determination, and, if necessary, the formal execution of a written agreement to represent with Legal Aid.

Confidentiality Notice

While we take steps to secure the information submitted here, please do not submit highly sensitive, privileged, or confidential materials through this form.

Authorization for Release of Information

A signed Authorization Form is not required for Legal Aid to contact the referred person directly. However, without it, Legal Aid cannot discuss the application, share status updates, or coordinate services with the referring organization. For Legal Aid to be able to talk with the referring organization about this request, please ensure the referred person signs the Authorization Form here:

Submission Confirmation

Once the request for assistance is submitted, a confirmation email will be sent to both the referring organization and the person requesting assistance (if an email is provided).
